I've had many wonderful teachers throughout the years, but none have impacted my voice and spirit as Doug has. His knowledge, understanding and love of the human voice is boundless. His level of expertise is matched by an almost baffling ability to intuit a singer’s needs and learning style in any given moment. 'As you can imagine, it was far from easy finding a gifted, collaborative music director who could prepare and perform a televised concert, rehearsing, conducting, playing (keyboard), and arranging music for such a diverse array of styles, in solos, duets, trios, and including a gospel choir. "I’m terrified of singing in public. I worked with an incredible vocal coach, Doug Peck, who taught me so much more than just singing. I’m thinking it’s gonna be funny exercises and weird sounds.
